Witbe Launches New QoE Video Robot at IBC
Testing and monitoring up to 8 HD video services in parallel
Controls quality of interactive services on fixed & mobile devices
Paris, France, July 19, 2013 – Witbe, the next generation Quality Monitoring company, has announced it will be introducing its new 4402 Video Quality Robot during IBC, the leading tradeshow focused on video management and delivery solutions to be held in Amsterdam on September 13-17.
Witbe’s family of Video Quality Monitoring Robots have the unique ability to replicate end-user actions on any viewing devices, such as set-top boxes, smartphones, tablets, game consoles, connected TVs and PC clients. They are widely deployed by Service Providers, Content owners and Device manufacturers around the globe to automate testing of new services, new apps or new devices before launch and monitor the quality of live and on-demand video services delivered to any type of fixed & mobile terminal.
The new Witbe 4402 Video Quality Monitoring Robot is a carrier-grade, rackable appliance, ideal for deployment in datacenters and test labs. It can run simultaneous tests on up to 8 SD or 8 HD devices of any type. Test engineers can thus run more cross-platform testing in less time and dramatically accelerate their release process. Operations managers can simplify their monitoring infrastructure while gaining enlarged visibility on the quality and usability of their video services across all terminals.
“The Video Delivery market is moving to a world where content is accessed via applications available on any device and over any network. This creates so many combinations that it is becoming very complex to control user experiences. Testing and monitoring Quality of Experience (QoE) is the key to build trust in and enable transactions that will drive these new sources of revenues”, explains Jean-Michel Planche, Witbe’s President and co-founder. “Witbe’s new 4402 Video Monitoring Robot leverages the award winning technology and expertise we have built over the years to help service providers and content owners accelerate innovation and gain tighter control on their video delivery chains, so they can deliver the promises of multiscreen services.”
Witbe’s 4402 Video Quality Robot is available immediately as part of Witbe’s award winning Multiscreen Quality Manager solution.
