Witbe

Witbe, a major player in Triple-Play Quality of Experience monitoring, has chosen the IPTV World Forum to promote its products on the world market. Witbe is presenting its unique perceptual approach to Triple Play QoE at the forum in Chicago on 22-23 July 2008, as well as unveiling its new Full HD robot. Witbe is a gold sponsor of the event, and Arman Aygen, Witbe’s Business Development Manager, will be giving a talk on “Know your set-top box, know your customer satisfaction.”

To complement its R&D work with its operator clients, Witbe aims to ensure that best practices become standards, allowing interoperability between the different solutions on the market. Witbe is involved in work groups such as VQEG (Video Quality Expert Group) and in different workshops, such as those organized by the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute.)

Witbe was present at the last ETSI meeting, on the theme of “Convergence of digital content distribution” and was again in attendance at the ETSI workshop in Prague from 17-19 June 2008. The topic “The effects of transmission quality on quality of service,” is fundamental in enabling understanding of video quality as it is really delivered. Witbe shares and actively supports the ETSI’s vision, “Consistent viewing experience is the target.”
