Research & Development Director
After studying engineering, Paul Rolland made his debut in 1992 in SSII Altran, working for Apple Europe defining and deploying quality tests for network products, as well carrying out conformance tests with foreign labs. He then went to TRT, working on telecommunications hardware administration solutions.
In 1995, passionate about the Internet and the IP world, he accepted an offer from Jean-Michel Planche and joined Oleane as Technical Director to develop the Internet and its usages.
In 2000, when Oleane was sold to France Telecom, he again followed Jean-Michel Planche into creating Witbe. Going from network and IP services development at Oleane to developing quality monitoring solutions for IP services at Witbe was a unique opportunity for him.
In 2001, he became Witbe’s R&D Director and now continues to anticipate industry needs by collaborating with reknowned experts in areas such as VoIP Wide Band or problems of QoS, Video SD and HD analysis.
