Marie-Véronique Lacaze is CEO of Witbe.
Marie-Veronique Lacaze began her career in 1984 in IT services at the Ministry of Equipment and participated in the first personal computer developments.
She then integrated one of the first French computer companies, ADDX-Systemes, going on to work for DIAF, which was re-bought by the Transiciel group.
In 1992 she set up her own company, ATM, specialising in large organisations’ LAN / WAN interconnection problems. Anticipating her clients’ need for Internet interconnection, she joined forces with Oleane, the first private French Internet operator, to develop a presence in the PACA region.
With the explosion of Internet needs in 1993, she decided to join Oleane full-time, first in Sales and Marketing then as CEO, until their merger with France-Telecom in 2000.
After 18 months continuing to develop Oleane with France-Telecom, she left the group along with Jean-Michel Planche to found Witbe and take up the position of CEO.
